The member was not having good education and not engaged in a particular profession. She is unmarried and lives with her brother. She was very keen to have a particular profession so that she can have a regular flow of  income for her livelihood. Though she thought for setting up a stall for selling fast food having good demand in the area, but the plan could not materialize for want of funds. When she was seriously in need of funds,  from one of her neighbours she could hear about the presence of Destiny Finco in the village and  success in their mission. One of the members of Puja group helped her in the matter and introduced in the office of  the MFI.

She got admitted in Puja group on 18.06.2010 and after admission she availed first loan of Rs. 8000/-. With this fund she started grocery business with certain daily used items and could start his earning in the first year. Her success in the business inspired her to expand the business gradually.

After repayment of first loan, she availed loan of Rs. 10000/- in the second term, then Rs. 12000/-, Rs. 15000/-and so on. Thus she could be able to enlarge the shop area and increase the variety of stocks and enhance her annual income gradually.  Lastly this year Smt. Majhi has availed a loan of Rs. 17000/, by which she has been able to raise annual income further.

The member now understands the business and how to raise the turnover as well as the surplus there from. She believes that whatever she has achieved, that has been possible only due  to financial support  extended by Destiny Finco with necessary advice at different stages, for which she is very much grateful to the MFI.
